The family sets up a small food cart on the beach, but their culinary skills are met with resistance from the local French chef, Monsieur Durand (played by Jean-François Stevenin), who owns a Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Relais Plaza, right across the street.
The story revolves around Hassan Kadam (played by Manish Dayal), a young and talented Indian chef who dreams of opening his own restaurant in France. After his father's death, Hassan and his family are forced to flee their home in India and settle in the south of France.
